What I’ve been waiting on for so long, which was my New York trip, has lead me straight to StumpTown Coffee Roasters. This is by far one of my favorite roasters and it’s a pretty big bummer that you can’t find to many shops in Philly selling Stumptown, but lets get right to it shall we. I was pretty amazed with the design of the shop because it’s a beautiful space to sip on a cup of coffee. The exposed brick wall added a great touch and the book shelves around the shop added to the coolness. I wish there was a bit more seating in the shop just in case you were not interested in sitting outside, but that really isn’t a big deal for me.

Of course I ordered a Cortado as my drink of choice and it was exactly what I was looking for from my first cup of the day. The barista’s were on point and were educated very well in the way of coffee; the force was strong in them [laugh]. Don’t worry, that is the only time in this post I will nerd out on you. Stumptown lived up to the hype and I look forward to checking out more of their shops in NY on the next trip.
