Lack of Sleep Does Affect Your Skin
Through the hustle and bustle of everyday life, somehow we as people forget to catch some well needed sleep. Posted on Huffingtonpost.com in 2013 “How long is the average night’s sleep around the world?” stated “65 percent are sleeping an, average of just six hours and 27 minutes every night, according to the survey, which was conducted by the hotel company Travelodge.” It’s amazing that out of 24 hours all we can manage is 6 hours of sleep.
What a lot of people don’t know is that the lack of sleep can have major effects on your skin. One of the major effects is skin aging due to the lack of sleep your body is receiving. The aging of your skin causes wrinkles and a darker and dull skin completion. Over time your skin loses some of its elasticity and will began to have a slower recovery time. The other side effects your skin can have are fine lines, dark circles and some breakouts.
All of this may seem like a far reach to some but it does happen. Fellas we are always on the go and from time to time mistreat our skin. It happens we all understand but now that we are on this journey of grooming greatness we need to take this in mind. Our bodies need at least 8-12 hours of sleep a night; let’s not fight it. Just sleep more.
