Marlowe Skin Care for Men
Marlowe is a skincare brand I recently checked and is exclusive to Target, but isn’t limited to men because the brand is unisex and can be used for women as well. The simple and clean products have a great style and stands out among its competitors. Marlowe partnered with Clean the World and you can read up about that by clicking here. After spending time with these products here are my thoughts and notes on a few selected products.
Key Ingredients For these products: Passionflower Fruit Extract (High in vitamin C and iron to aide in skin restoration and moisture), Green Tea Extract (Rich in antioxidants to help fuel skin cell repair and protect from environmental stresses)
Willow Bark Extract (Calming properties to help reduce inflammation and soothe irritated skin) and Deep Sea Algae Extract (Nutrients extracted from deep ocean waters to help soothe sensitive or inflamed skin)
No. 103 Men’s Body Wash | Price: $8.99
Just like any other time I try a body wash, I make a disclaimer that I am not a fan of body washes at all, but I don’t hold it against the products; that is just my personal preference. However, if you are a body wash groomer then this would be a great product for you. The scent was nice and light, but it is still a nice presence and stands out to me; the scent is a mixture of agarwood and sandalwood. The body wash was clear and silky to the touch, it lathered great and was very easy to work with; Solid cleanser in my book.
No. 123 Men’s Facial Moisturizer | Price: $8.99
The moisturizer didn’t really stand out to me and when you try products on a daily basis, products have a tendency to mesh together in my book. What stood out to me though was the lightweight feel of the moisturizer and the scent was a great blend of masculine and soft. I believe the aloe and citrus went well with the woody foundation when using it after my shower.
No. 001 Lightweight Body Lotion | Price: $9.99
The body lotion had a nice lightness, which is perfect for this weather if you do not have dry skin. I have dry skin and my body really absorbed all the lotion and I still felt like I needed more. The Lightweight Body Lotion wouldn’t be a product I would keep for myself, but to be fair, that’s my body and not yours. Remember to test it on yourself and see how it works out and it’s also a lightweight lotion so you come to expect that on dry skin. Now that it is getting beautiful in Philadelphia and the summer is on its way, having a nice lightweight body lotion is key. The scent was a nice balance of melon or at least that’s what I got from it. The texture was refreshing as well and left a nice smooth non-greasy feel on my skin.
