When we think of grooming and managing how we look a lot of men think products, working out and barbershops. Do you consider how you eat and what you put into your body as a part of grooming? Well the foods we eat have a major effect on how we look, how your body grows and how it reacts to the elements around you. Below I listed a couple of foods that you can eat that can benefit your skin and hair.

If you are trying to get strong healthy hair then your intake of dark leafy vegetables are the way to go. Being filled with water, dark leafy vegetables will have your hair sprouting like a plant. Being raised by a black female I’m really happy my mother loves cooking sweet potatoes. Our bodies need vitamin A to maintain and sweet potatoes are full of antioxidant beta carotene, which our body turns into vitamin A. Being low on vitamin A can leave you with an itchy scalp and full of dandruff.
Eggs are a great source of protein for your body. It has Iron and helps cells carry oxygen to the hair follicles. Too little iron is a major cause for hair loss, particularly in women, but it does effect men as well.
